How we chose these hotels
An address belongs to the 14th when its geocoded point lies within the arrondissement. We sorted the classified tourist hotels in this order: hotels checked by hand first (none in the 14th), then the categories in turn, four stars first, then three, two and one, with the hotel closest to a station first in each. That gives twenty candidates. Thirteen have a file in our base and appear above; seven have none and are left out: Hôtel Voco Paris Montparnasse, Hôtel du Midi, Hôtel Istria, Hôtel Citadines Montparnasse, Hôtel du Lion, Hôtel des Bains and Savoy Hotel. The 14th has no five-star hotel. The larger Montparnasse four-stars with a file, the Pullman Paris Montparnasse (957 rooms), the Mercure Paris Gare Montparnasse and the Drawing House, have a station 200 to 300 m away, against 50 to 100 m for the four-stars retained, so they fall outside the twenty.

All thirteen rely on the automatic reading of their websites, so we give the official category and its date, rooms, address, metro and the dated facts published by each hotel, and no facility that was not confirmed. Walking times come from the coordinates, multiplied by 1.3 and divided by 80 m a minute. We publish no prices.
Three places to stay in the 14th
The thirteen hotels are spread between Montparnasse, Denfert-Rochereau and the Porte d’Orléans, and the stations decide the stay.

- Denfert-Rochereau and Mouton-Duvernet. Nouvel Orléans, Lampika and Aviatic are on line 4; Lampika stands at the RER B station, direct to Charles de Gaulle, and Nouvel Orléans is five minutes from it.
- Gaîté and Pernety. Arcadie, Espérance and Naos Niepce are on line 13, close to Montparnasse.
- Porte d’Orléans and the southern boulevards. Bobo’s, Acropole, Terminus Orléans, Novotel Suites, Ibis Budget, F1 and Montsouris Orléans are on line 4 or tram T3a, further from the centre than the other two groups, with the Louvre between 4.1 km and 4.5 km away in a straight line.
Compared with the next district, hotels near Montparnasse station concentrate on the rail hub, and hotels in the 15th arrondissement lean towards the Eiffel Tower. The tourist tax in 2026 is €8.45 per adult per night for four stars, €5.53 for three, €3.25 for two and €2.60 for one star.
