How we chose these hotels
Distances are measured from the Eiffel Tower, taken at its Wikidata coordinates. We measured the straight-line distance between the tower and each classified hotel of the registry that belongs to this guide, and kept the four- and five-star hotels within 900 m, which are the ones likely to offer rooms with a view. There are 18. We ordered them by hand-checked files first, then stars, then distance, and describe the fourteen that have a file here.

The view is the point of this page, so we state how each hotel mentions it. Only what the hotel’s own site says counts, and we quote the category or the room it names. We have not verified the view from any room. Nine of the fourteen name a tower view; Almarine, Du Cadran, La Bourdonnais, Alberte and La Clef Tour Eiffel make no such claim and stand here because the rule includes them, as addresses without a view. Four candidates have no file and are not listed: Pullman Paris Tour Eiffel, Le Marquis Eiffel, Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel Grenelle and Maison Hamelin. Three hand-checked five-stars of the 8th arrondissement do name a tower view for some suites, the Four Seasons George V, Hôtel de Sers and La Clef Champs-Élysées, but they stand 1.2 to 1.4 km from the tower, outside the 900 m circle, and are in our 8th arrondissement list.
The One Alma and La Clef Tour Eiffel were read by hand. For the others, the site gave the category, the rooms, the address, the metro and the view claim, which we attribute to the hotel. We publish no prices.
Three sides of the tower
The fourteen fall into three groups.

- Left Bank, 7th arrondissement. Derby Alma, Londres Eiffel, Charles Floquet, The One Alma, Almarine, Cadran, La Bourdonnais and Alberte are near the Champ-de-Mars, served by line 8 at École Militaire, line 6 at Dupleix and Bir-Hakeim, or the RER C at Pont de l’Alma and Champ de Mars. This side is residential; our neighbourhood sheet rates it recommended for families and couples and not recommended for nightlife.
- Left Bank, 15th arrondissement. Mercure and Relais Saint Charles, on line 6 at Bir-Hakeim and Dupleix.
- Right Bank, 16th arrondissement. Shangri-La, Eiffel Trocadéro, Maison FL and La Clef Tour Eiffel, facing the tower across the Seine, at Iéna, Trocadéro and Passy.
The tower side is off-centre: from the Rue Cler, the Louvre is 20.5 minutes by public transport and Notre-Dame 26. There is no direct line to either airport; the sheet lists changes at Saint-Michel for RER B or at Madeleine for line 14. The 2026 flat taxi fare to the left bank is €65 from Charles de Gaulle and €36 from Orly.
Which hotel for whom
Our neighbourhood sheet rates the area recommended for couples, citing rooms with a tower view. On this list, the categories that name a view are at Shangri-La, Derby Alma, Londres Eiffel and Relais Saint Charles. Families have family suites at Derby Alma, a family room at Cadran and one for six at The One Alma. Anyone who wants a cheaper stay should leave the tower: our page on places to stay in Paris on a budget compares the other areas.
