The One Alma Paris, rue Cognacq-Jay

Beside the pont de l’Alma

The One Alma Paris stands at 10-12 rue Cognacq-Jay, near the pont de l’Alma, in the 7th arrondissement, about 800 metres from the Eiffel Tower as the crow flies. Its operator is a chain, The One; our guide places it in the Eiffel Tower quartier.

Atout France, the national classification body, has rated it five stars since 14 January 2022 and lists 40 rooms. The hotel’s own site counts 39; we give the register’s number.

Rooms, rooftop and spa

The hotel lists a rooftop, a spa and a gym. The rooftop, Le Sommet, is on the seventh floor, with a panoramic view of the Eiffel Tower and cocktails. The Despacio Spa has an “experience pool”, a sauna and a hammam, and the gym is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant serves breakfast.

Rooms are sold in categories that include the “Suite Eiffel”, at 70 m², and “Deluxe Paris” rooms with a view of the tower. There is a family room for up to four adults and two children, accessible rooms, a private car park with valet service and a policy that takes dogs up to 30 kg.

Against its neighbours

The One Alma is one of three five-stars in our nine for the quartier. Le Narcisse Blanc, 500 metres away, has 37 rooms and lists a spa and a pool; Hôtel SAX Paris is larger, with 118 rooms, and 1.8 km away. Among the lower categories, Hôtel Thoumieux, a four-star with 15 rooms, is 420 metres away, and the three-star Grand Hôtel Lévêque is about 520 metres away with 46 rooms. The Eiffel Tower hotel list compares all nine.
