How we chose these hotels
The centre point is the midpoint of the avenue des Champs-Élysées, at its Wikidata coordinates. For every hotel in our database we calculated the straight-line distance from its own coordinates and kept those within 600 m. Seventeen hotels are listed, three to five stars, ranked by Atout France category (five stars first) then by distance. Our base holds fifteen five-star hotels within 600 m (a five-star tourist residence, Fraser Suites Le Claridge, is not counted); this page keeps eight: the closest (Marignan), the six read by hand (Lancaster, Fouquet’s, Bulgari, the Four Seasons George V, Le Bristol and Hôtel de Sers) and Montesquieu. The seven others (Grand Powers, San Régis, La Réserve, La Demeure Montaigne, Élysia, Plaza Athénée and Le Damantin) are in our five-star list. All the four-stars (four) and three-stars (five) of the circle are here. Two one-star suite residences, Vestay George V and Vestay Montaigne (six rooms each), are not shown.

Eight of the seventeen were checked by hand: Lancaster, Fouquet’s, Chambiges and Le Colisée against the hotel’s website, and the four 2026 additions (Bulgari, Four Seasons George V, Le Bristol and Hôtel de Sers) in a manual check of the five-star hotels. For Bulgari and Le Bristol the official site could not be read, so we cite only the palace distinction. The other nine come from automatic reading, so for them we state only what the file can support: category, rooms, address, metro, and what the hotel says about itself, attributed. Two of them (O.lysée and Le Monna Lisa) carry nothing beyond that.
We show no rates; the page gives a price range estimated from the stars.
Where it works, and for whom
Our neighbourhood sheet rates the Champs-Élysées and Triangle d’or area as recommended for couples (a concentration of palaces and five-stars, and shows such as the Crazy Horse) and for shopping, with two Sunday-opening tourist zones and the luxury of avenue Montaigne. It rates it only possible for a first visit, nightlife and families, and not recommended on a budget. Eight of Paris’s 13 palaces of 2026 are in the 8th arrondissement, and six stand within 600 m of the avenue: Fouquet’s, Bulgari, the Four Seasons George V and Le Bristol in this list, Plaza Athénée and La Réserve in the five-star list.

The area is better connected than it looks: line 1 runs direct to the Louvre, Hôtel de Ville and Bastille, and the Louvre is 12.5 minutes by public transport from the Rond-Point. The Eiffel Tower is 19 minutes from the Rond-Point by metro (line 9 from Franklin D. Roosevelt), and 19 minutes on foot from avenue George-V (1,551 m).
If you want the Arc de Triomphe end of the avenue, see the list for the Arc de Triomphe, which keeps to its own 600 m circle. For the wider 8th arrondissement, see the 8th arrondissement list.
