How we chose these hotels
The centre point is the Arc de Triomphe, at its Wikidata coordinates. For each hotel in our database we computed the straight-line distance from its own coordinates: twenty-eight are within 600 m. We present eighteen to cover every budget from two to five stars, ranked by Atout France category (five stars first), then by distance; the nearest is L’Aventure, at 186 m. Ten are left out, including three five-stars: the Majestic Hôtel Spa (383 m), the Hôtel Balzac (394 m) and the Fouquet’s Paris (538 m), which belongs to the Champs-Élysées list.

Seven of the eighteen were checked by hand: Ekta and Élysées Ceramic against the hotel’s website, and the five 2026 additions (Vernet, the Peninsula, the Royal Monceau, La Clef Champs-Élysées and Sofitel Arc de Triomphe) in a manual check of the five-star hotels, which read their official pages through an automatic summary. The other eleven come from automatic reading. For them we state only the category, the rooms, the address, the metro and what the hotel says about itself, attributed.
No rates are shown; the price range is estimated from the stars.
Which side of the Arc
The eighteen hotels fall into three groups. On the 16th-arrondissement side, avenue Victor-Hugo and avenue Kléber have L’Aventure, 6 VH, the Raphaël and the Peninsula, a palace of the 2026 list. On the 17th-arrondissement side, avenue Mac-Mahon, avenue Carnot and rue Troyon have the Albar, Belfast, Miss Fuller and Princesse Caroline, and rue Brey, rue du Général-Lanrezac and rue des Acacias have Élysées Paris, the Phenix and Des Pavillons. On the 8th-arrondissement side, avenue de Friedland, rue Galilée and avenue de Wagram have Napoléon, Ekta and Élysées Ceramic, and avenue Hoche, rue Vernet, rue de Bassano and rue Beaujon have the Royal Monceau (a palace of the 2026 list), Vernet, La Clef Champs-Élysées and Sofitel Arc de Triomphe.

Our neighbourhood data places the Arc with the Champs-Élysées and Triangle d’or area, whose drawbacks include closures of the avenue on days of events (14 July, the Tour de France, 31 December) and pickpocket reports, plus the lack of an RER B line.
To compare with the avenue itself, see the Champs-Élysées list; for the Eiffel Tower, the list near the tower.
