The Maison Boutet, rue Faidherbe

The hotel stands at 22-24 rue Faidherbe, in the faubourg Saint-Antoine part of the 11th arrondissement, in the Faidherbe sector of our Bastille / Oberkampf guide. Atout France classifies it five stars, a rating dated 3 March 2026, and counts 80 rooms. The building is the former Maison Boutet, a wood workshop and then a chocolate factory, and the hotel sells itself under Accor’s MGallery Collection.

Rooms, pool and spa

Beyond the standard rooms, the hotel lists eight rooms and suites with a terrace, a Deluxe terrace suite for four, and family and adjoining rooms on request. The wellness side is uncommon here, since only two of the 40 hotels in our database for the Bastille / Oberkampf area list a pool: a heated indoor pool (29 °C, 7 am to 10 pm), sauna, hammam, a sensory shower, a spa open 10 am to 7 pm and a gym open at all hours. A bar serves light food. Air conditioning is listed, and the hotel says it is wheelchair accessible. Parking on site and pets each carry a supplement.

How far from the Bastille

The hotel says the place de la Bastille is a 17-minute walk, and our file puts it at about 1.4 km. The nearest stations are Faidherbe-Chaligny (line 8, 3 minutes), Charonne (line 9, 6) and Rue des Boulets (line 9, 7). From the place de la Bastille itself, our reference point for the area, the Louvre pyramid is 17 minutes away, Notre-Dame 19 and the Eiffel Tower 36.5; Orly is about 37 minutes and Charles de Gaulle terminal 2 about 57.5. Count a few extra minutes from rue Faidherbe.

Among the 11th arrondissement hotels

The area holds two five-star hotels in our base: this one, with 80 rooms, and Maison Bréguet, with 50. Boutet is the larger of the two, and both list a pool and a spa. Hôtel Ginette à la Folie, a four-star of 46 rooms that also lists a spa, is 1.9 km away, closer to Oberkampf and République.
