Facing the Opéra-Comique
La Maison Favart is at 5 rue de Marivaux, facing the Opéra-Comique on place Boieldieu, in the Vivienne quarter of the 2nd arrondissement. The hotel presents itself as “in the front row” of the opera house and says it draws on the spirit of the Favart couple. Atout France ranked it four stars on 1 July 2022 and counts 39 rooms; the hotel’s own pages give no room count. The street-side façades and roofs of numbers 1, 3, 5 and 7 rue de Marivaux were inscribed as historic monuments in 1975.
