A garden in the Abbesses district

Monsieur Aristide is at 3 rue Aristide-Bruant, a small street between rue des Abbesses and rue Lepic, the area of Montmartre known as Abbesses. The administrative quartier is Grandes-Carrières. The hotel belongs to the Chapitre Six collection. Atout France, the national classification body, has rated it four stars since 18 October 2021, for 25 rooms.

The hotel pays tribute to the cabaret singer Aristide Bruant, illustrated by Toulouse-Lautrec. The hotel says it occupies a nineteenth-century building arranged around a “secret garden”, and furnished mostly with second-hand pieces.

Rooms and the house

The restaurant is the Café Aristide, a bistro with a cocktail bar; the hotel adds an inner garden and a terrace, individual air conditioning and a reception open round the clock. Four rooms are at garden level, and duplex suites under the roof have a terrace. Two communicating rooms on each floor are sold as family rooms of 27 square metres, and a garden apartment measures 36 square metres. One accessible room is on the ground floor, and small pets are accepted.

We found no confirmed spa or gym. The hotel also reports a terrazzo floor made from demolition materials, solar panels and rainwater recovery.
