Timhotel Montmartre stands at 11 rue Ravignan, on the place Émile-Goudeau, in the 18th arrondissement. The square is half-way up the hill, between place des Abbesses and place du Tertre, and the hotel is next to the Bateau-Lavoir, at no. 13, whose surviving part has been listed as a historic monument since 1965. Timhotel is a chain. Atout France, the national classification body, has rated this house three stars since 8 July 2022, with 59 rooms.

Rooms

The rooms are air-conditioned throughout, and the hotel has a lift and free luggage storage. The Superior, Triple and Junior Suite categories come with a balcony and a view of the Eiffel Tower, the Sacré-Cœur or both, according to the hotel. Triples are the largest sleeping option the site shows; it displays no four-person family room. Animals are not admitted. The hotel calls itself accessible to guests with reduced mobility but not to wheelchair users, so we do not list accessible rooms.

Metro and the funicular

Abbesses, on line 12, is 200 metres away, two minutes; the two stations of the Montmartre funicular are 500 metres away, six minutes. Place des Abbesses, our reference point, is 145 metres from the hotel. From it, a theoretical transit journey takes about 22 minutes to the Louvre, 27 to Notre-Dame and 36 to the Eiffel Tower.

Against its neighbours

Of our nine Montmartre hotels, the Timhotel is the second largest, after the 92-room four-star Terrass” Hotel, about 350 metres away. It is one of two three-stars; the other, Hôtel 29 Lepic, has 37 rooms, is about 230 metres away and does not list air conditioning in our data. The nearest hotels on the list are Hôtel Regyn’s Montmartre, a two-star of 22 rooms about 150 metres off, and the four-stars Hôtel Littéraire Marcel Aymé, 39 rooms, and Monsieur Aristide, 25.
