A hotel on a discothèque’s site

Bus Palladium Hôtel Club is at 6 rue Pierre-Fontaine, on the 9th-arrondissement side, between place Pigalle and place Blanche. The administrative quartier is Saint-Georges. It belongs to the Chapitre Six collection. Atout France, the national classification body, has rated it five stars since 16 April 2026, for 35 rooms.

The address carries its history in the name. The Bus Palladium discothèque opened on 30 September 1965 and closed on 23 April 2022 to be demolished for a hotel. According to Wikipedia, the site earlier held cafés-concerts and a 1929 jazz club, the Cotton Club, and Salvador Dalí gave a banquet there in 1965; the hotel has a Dalí Suite.

Rooms, restaurant and bar

The hotel’s rooms use raw concrete, cork, velvet and ribbed glass, and carry speakers. Suites have a terrace or a balcony: the Terrace Suite, the Prestige Terrace Suite, the Balcony Junior Suite and the Dalí Suite. The restaurant serves breakfast and dinner around a vinyl bar, with a snack menu at the bar between meals. The hotel also describes itself as a club, with music from morning to night.

Air conditioning, accessibility and pets are not mentioned on its site. The hotel is new, so the opening date and any guest feedback remain unchecked in our data.

Metro and the district

Pigalle (lines 2 and 12) is 300 metres, four minutes on foot; Blanche (line 2) and Saint-Georges (line 12) are 450 metres, five and six minutes. For the quartier, theoretical metro times from place Pigalle are about 20 minutes to the Louvre, 26 to Notre-Dame and 34 to the Eiffel Tower, outside disruption. The Moulin Rouge stands on the 18th-arrondissement side of the boulevard de Clichy, which our quartier file counts as part of Pigalle in the wider sense.

Against its neighbours

Pigalle and SoPi has three five-stars in our data, and this is one of them. Maison Souquet has 20 rooms and is 401 metres away; Hôtel Le Ballu has 35 and is 428 metres away; our quartier file records a pool at those two, not here. Closer are the three-star Hôtel Villa Bohème at 82 metres (24 rooms) and Hôtel Joke at 290 metres (44). Hôtel HOY Paris and Hôtel Les Matins de Paris are four-stars at 383 and 389 metres. Everything is in our list of Pigalle hotels and the 9th arrondissement list.
